Bells Minor League Spotlight

A relief pitcher by trade, Haworth made his presence felt for the Boston Red Sox Gulf Coast Rookie League team. In his six game appearances, he pitched 12 innings, only giving up nine hits and two earned runs. He finished the season with an ERA of 1.50 and launched 10 strikeouts from the mound. He was also responsible for three wins, going 3-0 on the season. Haworth was drafted in the 22nd round of the 2017 MLB Draft and is still active within the Red Sox organization.

About the Bellingham Bells

The Bellingham Bells are a summer collegiate, wood bat baseball team and a member of the West Coast League.  During the months of June, July & August, the Bells compete in a 57-game season, playing home games at Joe Martin Field in Bellingham and traveling to compete with other WCL teams in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. The Bells strive to contribute to a strong and vibrant community through affordable, family-friendly entertainment.
