08/05/2017 9:28 PM

Even with last nights loss, the Bells still have a chance for the post-season.

Austin Pinorini got two of the Bells three hits, both singles, including one where he advanced to third on a throwing error. He scored in the bottom of the sixth inning on an Austin Shenton single.

Zach Pettway (4-1) took his first loss of the season, struggling for the first time of the season. He threw 3.2 innings, giving up nine earned runs and earning three strikeouts.

Chaz Lopez (0-0) came in on relief and threw 3.1 strong innings of relief, allowing just three hits and one earned run, also garnering three strikeouts. Tommy Paul and Kristjan Storrie each threw one inning of relief, neither allowing an earned run.

Brock Anderson had a home run stolen from him in the bottom of the third inning. The AppleSox right fielder went up and over the fence, taking it back from over the fence.

The Bells will play their final game of the regular season tomorrow night at 3:05 p.m., on a Family Fun Day Sunday.
