Sixteen Bells Receive All-WCL Honors

Sixteen Bellingham Bells were named to 2016 All-West Coast League teams, WCL president Donnie Marbut announced today. Outfielder Shane Hanon and relief pitcher Sam Hellinger were named First Team All-WCL while starting pitcher Jon Olsen and reliever Jared Horn were named to the Second Team All-WCL. Twelve Bells were named All-WCL Honorable Mentions.
“We are extremely excited for sixteen of our players to be recognized by the league,” general manager Stephanie Morrell said. “The WCL had no shortage of talent this year and it is a tremendous honor to have such a large representation of Bells on all-league teams.”
The following Bells were named to the All-West Coast League Conference Teams:
First Team All-West Coast League:

· Sam Hellinger, Relief Pitcher, Gonzaga University
Second Team All-West Coast League:
· Jon Olsen, Starting Pitcher, UCLA
· Jared Horn, Relief Pitcher, Cal-Berkeley
Honorable Mention All-West Coast League:
