Team USA catcher joins the Bells

Arden Pabst, a senior at Harvard-Westlake HS, is committed to play for the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech after he graduates high school later this year. The 6’0 right handed hitting catcher is one of the top HS catching recruits in the nation. Known for both his strong arm behind the plate and his bat from the right side, the GT commit has been recognized for his talent and potential by numerous outlets. “Arden will be an exciting player to watch in a Bells uniform this summer,” said assistant coach Jim Clem. “He’s an outstanding offensive player who hits for both average and power.”
He was a 2013 1st team member of the Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason California Region All High School Senior team, which followed a PG Underclass All American 2nd team accolade in 2012. In 2011, he participated in the IBAF World 16U Youth Championships as a member of Team USA where he helped bring home the gold for Team USA. “Arden can catch and play third base, and he will likely find time playing both this summer,” said Clem. “He comes from a highly respected program at Harvard-Wastlake, where his coach Matt LaCour has built a powerhouse.
