Bells Sign Pitchers from Gonzaga and Seattle U

The Bells have signed a pair of pitchers to the 2013 squad. Will Dennis from Seattle University and David Bigelow from Gonzaga University join the roster for the upcoming summer season.
Will Dennis is a 6’2 lefty out of Saratoga, CA. Dennis is currently a freshman at Seattle University. The starting pitcher is in his first year with the Redhawks. Dennis played two seasons with the varsity team at Saratoga High School, where he was the team MVP as a senior. In his final season at Saratoga HS, Dennis was 1st team All-de Anza League. “Dennis is a talented arm to have on the roster,” said General Manager Nick Caples. “He’s already made multiple appearances for the Redhawks, so he is poised to make an impact as a freshman.” Dennis’ Redhawks teammate Andrew Olson returns to the Bells in 2013 for his 2nd season in the WCL.
David Bigelow is a tall righty out of Fox Island, WA. Bigelow stands at 6’6 and is a redshirt sophomore at Gonzaga University. Bigelow is in his 3rd year at Gonzaga. He redshirted in 2011. Bigelow attended Gig Harbor High School in Gig Harbor, WA. There, he lettered for four years in both baseball and basketball. He hit .422 with 39 RBI’s as a senior, posting a 1.80 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 34.1 innings from the mound. He was a three time All-League selection, and was selected to the 2nd team All-State as a senior. “Standing 6’6, Bigelow is a scary pitcher to face,” said Caples. “We look forward to helping him develop this summer.”
