08/03/2011 11:30 PMThursday promises to be a special evening at Joe Martin Field. It is the Bells last regular-season home game and there will be festivities throughout the evening.

The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a team poster sponsored by Peoples Bank, the perfect way to commemorate this 2011 Bells squad.

Before the game, there will be an on-field ceremoy to honor all who have served as host families for the Bells this summer.

All fans are invited to stay after the ballgame for a fireworks show that will light up the Bellingham sky.

On the field, the Bells will continue their pursuit of the playoffs. The squad is currently trailing Walla Walla by one game for the final playoff spot in the WCL's East Division. However, the Bells hold the tiebreaker and have seven games left in the playoff race.
