Upcoming Bells Theme Nights

07/07/2011 12:02 AMThough the Bells season is quickly progressing, 15 home games still remain. Not only are there many more opportunities to see high-quality baseball and receive various giveaways, the Bells have numerous upcoming theme nights that promise to provide incredible fun and long-lasting memories.

Saturday, July 9 will be a truly special evening at Joe Martin Field… This will be our Breast Cancer Awareness Night. For each ticket purchased to this game, the Bells will make a $1.00 donation to the Puget Sound affiliate of Susan G. Komen. In addition, Bells ownership will match the amount raised through ticket sales and will also contribute these funds to the Puget Sound affiliate of Susan G. Komen. The Bells will also be wearing one-of-a-kind game hats that combine the breast cancer awareness pink and the Bells navy blue. These hats will be auctioned off to fans (via a silent auction) during the game. The winning bidders will not only receive the hats, but they will get to meet the player whose hat they purchased and get their picture taken with them. The Bells will donate 100% of the money raised through this auction to Susan G. Komen.

All Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are invited to Scouting Night on Saturday, July 16. Uniformed scouts will be invited onto the field as we honor our country with the presentation of our colors and the singing of the National Anthem.

Major League Baseball legend Jamie Moyer will be at Joe Martin Field on July 20th for Moyer Foundation Night. The mission of The Moyer Foundation is to empower children in distress by providing education and support - helping them to live a healthy and inspired life. In honor of the great work being done by the Moyer Foundation (www.moyerfoundation.org), the Bells will donate $1 to the foundation for every ticket sold to the ball game. Bells ownership will also be matching the amount raised through ticket sales with another gift to the foundation.

Monday, August 1 is Mascot Olympics Night. Dinger will be joined by many friends as they compete in fun events throughout the game.
