Bells Top Kitsap to Move Up WCL Standings

Wise pitched eight innings and gave up one run on four hits and had eight strikeouts to earn the victory.
The Bells scored a run in the second inning and added two more runs in the third inning to take a 3-0 lead that held until Kitsap scored its lone run in the seventh inning.
Bellingham's Chris Casazza led off the second inning with a triple and scored one out later. In the third inning, Chris Pierce hit a double and Chris Sturdivant followed with a two-run double for a 3-0 lead.
The Bells next play at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 3 at Corvallis.
