Bells, Post 7 Cancel June 24 Game
06/23/2010 1:17 PMBellingham, Wash. – The Bellingham Bells and Post 7 have canceled their game originally scheduled for Thursday, June 24, at Joe Martin Field. The game had to be canceled after scheduling conflicts were discovered by the Legion club.
“This is a game we look forward to each year as it gives the community a chance to see some of the best baseball talent in our region,” Bells general manager Justin Stottlemyre said. “We tried to find a time to reschedule the game, but neither schedule had openings that would work.”
The Bells complete a nine-day, 10-game road trip Wednesday, June 23, in Kelowna before returning to action at home on Friday, June 25, against the Moses Lake Pirates. Friday is Haggen $1 Family Feast Night at Joe Martin Field presented by Praise 106.5.
