Bells Fall in 10-Inning Battle to Bend
06/11/2010 10:36 PMThe Bellingham Bells had two base runners on in the bottom of the 10th inning but couldn't push across any runs as they lost 3-2 to Bend in the opener of a three-game set Friday, June 11, at Joe Martin Field.
Bellingham's Tyrell Poggemeyer allowed two runs on four hits, struck out eight and walked one in seven innings in the no decision.
Chris Pierce was 2 for 5 with a double and two runs for the Bells.
