Griggs struck out six is as many innings and gave up one run on three hits to earn the win. He gave way to Mitch Ludtke who pitched the final three frames. Ludtke allowed a pair of runs on four hits while walking three batters but struck out seven batters.
The Bells took the lead in the first inning on a wild pitch that allowed Charlie Markson to cross home. Bellingham added another run in the fourth inning to take the lead for good before putting up two runs in both the sixth and seventh innings and three more in the eighth.
Frank Desico, Junnior Dishmey-Perez, and Chris Pierce led the Bells offensively with each collecting a pair of hits in the contest. Despite going 0-for-1 at the plate, Markson scored three runs on three walks.
In his first game back from a broken nose on June 20, Ben Grubb went 1-for-2 for the Bells with a walk, was hit by a pitch, and drove in two runs with a seventh inning triple.
