The Bellingham Bells are excited to announce the release of the 2018 West Coast League schedule. The Bells will play a total of 54 games this summer, 27 of which will be at home.
The Bells will open the 2018 season on the road against the Kelowna Falcons on Friday, June 1. The Bells and the Falcons will face off for three games before the Bells return home to open the 2018 season at home June 4 against the Walla Walla Sweets.
2018 Schedule Highlights include:
- 54 West Coast League games
- 27 home games
- Multiple “$2 Tuesday” promotions and several other fun promotional events
- Fourth of July home game
- Monday - Saturday home games beginning at 6:35 p.m.
- Sunday afternoon home games beginning at 3:05 p.m.
“Joe Martin Field will be once again be filled with great energy and excitement during the summer months,” said Bells’ general manager Stephanie Morrell. “We look forward to treating Bells fans to competitive baseball and terrific, high value, family entertainment.”
The Portland Pickles are the newest addition to the WCL for 2018, and will join the WCL South Division alongside the Bend Elks, Corvallis Knights, Cowlitz Black Bears, Gresham GreyWolves and Walla Walla Sweets. The North Division will remain a six-team division, consisting of the Bells, Kelowna Falcons, Victoria HarbourCats, Wenatchee AppleSox and Yakima Valley Pippins.
