The Bellingham Bells are excited to announce Noah Cloonan will be the voice of the Bells for the 2018 season. Cloonan will provide play-by-play commentary for all 57 games during the summer.
Cloonan comes to the Pacific Northwest with a vast experience in play-by-play and color commentary in collegiate athletics. He is currently a play-by-play broadcaster for Sportstime Ohio’s coverage of Ashland University football, men and women’s soccer, volleyball, men and women’s basketball, wrestling and track and field.
Prior to joining the Bells, Cloonan spent the summer of 2017 as they Director of Media Relations for the Lorain County Ironmen in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League.
“We are thrilled to welcome Noah to our team,” Bells’ general manager Stephanie Morrell said. “Noah brings valuable experience in summer collegiate baseball and an impressive resume in sports broadcasting. I know our fans will enjoy tuning into the broadcast and listening to Noah all summer long!”
Cloonan is also a sports reporter for high school basketball at WFMD-TV in Mansfield, Ohio.
Cloonan currently studies at Ashland University in Ohio. At AU, Cloonan is the Sports Director for 88.9 WRDL and has called Eagle football, men and women’s basketball, soccer, volleyball and baseball on the station. He is also the Managing Editor of The Collegian, Ashland’s student run newspaper.
